Erst freuen sie sich und dann laufen sie schreiend weg. Für welchen wundervollen Ort kann so etwas nur gelten? Genau, jeder Park mit Dinosauriern bietet diese Achterbahn der Gefühle für Besucher. Gut dass es mittlerweile mehrere Brettspiele gibt, die genau dieses Thema als Grundlage haben. Dinosaur Island und Dinogenics sind die Brettspiele, die wir in unserer heutigen Folge besprechen. Obwohl die Brettspiele das gleiche Thema haben und auch in Zügen die gleichen Mechaniken besitzen, spielen sie sich doch unterschiedlicher als gedacht. Ob nun Dinosaur Island oder Dinogenics unser Favorit ist, werden wir euch natürlich verraten.

Beschreibung des Verlags: In Dinosaur Island, players will have to collect DNA, research the DNA sequences of extinct dinosaur species, and then combine the ancient DNA in the correct sequence to bring these prehistoric creatures back to life. Dino cooking! All players will compete to build the most thrilling park each season, and then work to attract (and keep alive!) the most visitors each season that the park opens.

Dinosaur Island is a worker placement game where players build attractions and add dinosaurs to gain victory points. At the beginning of every game two Plot-Twist cards will be dealt out that will break the rules of the game in myriad ways. These rule-changes will drastically alter your strategy and decision making throughout the game. In addition to the Plot Twists, the goal cards in each game will be unique.

The game ends when a round finishes with one 1 Objective card left. Players total their points and the player with the most victory points wins.

Beschreibung des Verlags: DinoGenics is a competitive game for two to five players, in which each player attempts to build and run their own successful dinosaur park.

Each player is the head of their own corporation with access to their own private island resort. Each season, players assign agents to the mainland to compete over DNA and other limited resources. Once collected, players can build fences, various park facilities and populate their parks with dinosaurs. Parks with the most prestigious dinosaurs will attract the most visitors. But beware; if dinosaurs are neglected or improperly penned, they will attempt to escape and spread havoc through the entire park.

Use all the tools at your disposal; DNA splice mutant dinosaurs, exploit the Black Market or just try to run an honest park, the choices are yours.
